JSA advises Ixigo on majority stake acquisition in Brevistay

Following the stake acquisition, Brevistay will become a subsidiary of ixigo.

Le Travenues Technology Limited, dba Ixigo, has acquired a 54.66% majority stake in Brevistay Hospitality Private Limited.

JSA Advocates & Solicitors advised Ixigo on this acquisition. The Firm provided end-to-end support in relation to transaction including conducting legal due diligence on Brevistay, negotiating and finalizing the transaction documents and providing assistance with pre-closing actions.

The transaction team consisted of Archana Tewary (Partner), Savio Tom (Principal Associate), Nandini Menon (Senior Associate), Naveen Kumar (Associate) and Sanchari Sengupta (Junior Associate).

Brevistay has built India's largest flexible-stay hotel network platform that enables short-duration and overnight hotel bookings.

Following the stake acquisition, Brevistay will become a subsidiary of ixigo. Furthermore, ixigo will have the option to buy the remaining shares in the future, contingent upon the fulfillment of certain agreed-upon conditions.
