Khaitan acts on Bosch JV with Tata AutoComp Systems to charge up India's e-mobility

The joint venture has established a registered office in Pune.

Bosch Limited, a leading supplier of technology and services, has formed a joint venture with Tata AutoComp Systems Limited, an automotive components conglomerate, to unlock growth opportunities in India’s e-mobility segment.

Khaitan & Co advised Bosch on this JV. The Firm assisted Bosch on structure of the joint venture along with negotiating the transaction documents.

The transaction team consisted of Moin Ladha (Partner), Sweta Rao (Counsel) and Abhijeet Kamath (Principal Associate).

Anisha Chand (Partner) and Soham Banerjee (Counsel) assisted on anti trust-related aspects.

The joint venture will concentrate on the engineering, production, and sales of eAxle systems and electric motors within India. Headquartered in Pune, this partnership seeks to drive the adoption of sustainable and innovative technologies, while broadening the regional presence of both companies in the e-mobility sector.
