Khaitan & Co advises Nexus Select Trust on ₹1,600 crore acquisition of mall and hotel in Guwahati

This transaction marks Nexus’ strategic entry into Northeast India.

Nexus Select Trust is set to acquire 100% of the share capital of Galaxy Infra Creations Private Limited for a purchase consideration of ~₹1,600 crore, from its existing shareholders Deepak Kayal, Manoj Kayal and others.

Galaxy is the owner, developer and operator of a retail mall in Guwahati, India, by the name ‘Galaxy Mall’; and a hotel in Guwahati, India, by the name Hyatt Regency Hotel.

Khaitan & Co advised Nexus Select Trust on this fundraise.
