Khaitan & Co, ELP act on Smartworks ₹582.5 crore IPO

Smartworks Coworking Spaces Limited has made an initial public offering of 14,321,474 equity shares aggregating to ₹582.555 crore.

Khaitan & Co acted as legal counsel to Smartworks on this IPO.

The transaction team consisted of Sudhir Bassi (Executive Director), Oishik Bagchi (Partner), Ayushi Saumya (Senior Associate), Johann Valladares (Senior Associate), Varshini Puni (Senior Associate), Arjun Kapur (Associate), Harshit Singh (Associate) and Mythri Murali (Associate).

The Firm had also advised on Smartworks' previous IPO.

Economic Laws Practice advised the book running lead managers, JM Financial Limited, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, IIFL Securities Limited and BOB Capital Markets Limited, on this IPO.

The IPO consists of a fresh issue of 10,941,734 equity shares aggregating to ₹445 crore and an offer for sale of 3,379,740 equity shares aggregating to ₹137.555 crore by NS Niketan LLP, SNS Infrarealty LLP and Space Solutions India Pte. Ltd.
