Novargi Group, S.L., a Spain-headquartered engineering and EPC company is entering into a strategic joint venture with Cerec Metalform Private Limited.
Kochhar & Co advised Novargi on all the Indian law aspects of the transaction, including advice on structuring, support with drafting and negotiating the transaction documents, and assisting with the legal and regulatory aspects of establishing the joint venture in India.
The transaction was led by Ketan Mukhija (Partner), with support from Deepika Gautam (Senior Associate) and Vrinda Taneja (Associate).
Novargi specialises in modular process plants and industrial equipment for the energy and industrial sectors.
The joint venture brings together Novargi's engineering and project execution capabilities with Cerec Metalform’s manufacturing expertise to establish a manufacturing platform in India for industrial equipment and related products. The collaboration is expected to support the partners' manufacturing capabilities and strengthen their presence in the Indian market.
