SAM, Equilex Law lead on acquisition of Sanwariya Gas Ltd by Torrent Gas

The deal was signed off on March 29, 2021.

Torrent Gas Moradabad Limited has acquired 100% shareholding of Sanwariya Gas Limited from its shareholders.

This acquisition will allow Torrent Gas to enter the city gas distribution business in the geographical area of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advised Torrent Gas on the transactions. The transaction team was led by Partners Jatin Aneja and Kushal Sinha, along with Associate Simran Kaur.

Partner Prashant Sirohi advised on PNGRB related aspects.

The Diligence team was led by Partners Prashant Sirohi and Kushal Sinha, along with Principal Associate Vaibhav Bhardwaj, Senior Associate Charu Mehrish and Associates Simran Kaur, Surabhi Gupta, Tanusmita Ghoshal, and Palash Srivastav.
