Samisti Legal advised Malabar India Fund in Genesys International's funding round

Genesys International Corporation has raised ₹250 crores in an equity funding round led by Malabar India Fund Limited, and marquee investors including Sundar Iyer, Mathew Cyriac, Inder Soni, Vijay Karnani, Ashish Nanda, Kamlesh Shah, Sanjana Deepak Gupta and Abhinaya Chakravarthi.

Samisti Legal LLP represented Malabar India Fund Limited in the deal, and conducted due diligence on Genesys International.

The transaction team was led by Prashant Jain (Partner), with the assistance of Anita Dugar (Principal Associate), Prajakta Gokhale (Senior Associate) and Abhishek Gupta (Senior Associate).

The newly acquired funds will be used by the company to accelerate their 3D content digital programme.
