Swiggy set to sell Lynk to Udaan; Trilegal advises

The proposed deal values Lynk at ₹500 crore.

Swiggy Networks Limited is set to sell its entire shareholding in Lynks Logistics Limited to Trustroot Internet Private Limited (Udaan) in exchange for 2.8% stake in Udaan.

Trilegal is advising Swiggy Networks and Lynk on this share-swap transaction. The firm is also advising Swiggy on business transfer of its B2B distribution vertical to Lynk, prior to consummation of the swap.

The transaction was led by Gautam Singh (Partner) and Mitali Halbe (Partner), with support from Nandita Bhakta (Counsel), Soham Munshi (Senior Associate), Akshay Vaddagiri (Senior Associate), Associates Kim Shah and Sanjeesha Agarwal.

They were assisted by the Labour and Employment Team consisting of Parvathy Tharamel (Partner), Harshita Arora (Senior Associate) and Shreya Sharma (Associate).

Udaan is a business-to-business e-commerce platform, and is acquiring Lynk, a retail distribution firm owned by Swiggy Networks Limited. The proposed deal values Lynk at ₹500 crore, will strengthen Udaan's presence across important consumption markets in India.
