Touchstone Partners advises Motilal Oswal on ₹600 crore investment in KARAM Safety

The capital will fund KARAM's acquisition and expansion plans.

Motilal Oswal Alternates, the private equity arm of the Motilal Oswal Group, has made a ₹600 crore investment in KARAM Safety Private Limited, through its India Business Excellence Fund V.

The transaction comprised a primary investment in KARAM and a secondary acquisition of shares from its existing shareholders.

Touchstone Partners advised MO Alternates on this transaction.

The transaction team consisted of Anirudh Agarwala (Partner), Pranay Bagdi (Partner), Pranjal Doshi (Counsel), Kajal Advani (Senior Associate), Associates Aastha Vyas, Neelima Hande, Harshita Gupta and Paras Tripathi.
