TT&A, DFDL advise IFC on sanctioning $50 million to Pubali Bank

The proceeds of the loan will be used exclusively to support or expand the Pubali Banks' working capital and trade related lending program by way of eligible sub-loans to SMEs.

The International Finance Corporation is set to extend a loan aggregating up to $50 million to Pubali Bank PLC, incorporated in Bangladesh.

TT&A advised IFC on this financing transaction.

The transaction team consisted of Gautam Saha (Managing Partner), Nikhil Bahl (Partner), Amrit Mahal (Managing Associate), Siddharth Tandon (Managing Associate) and Maansi Mehta (Senior Associate).

TT&A has recently been advising IFC on sanctioning loans to Bangladesh-based companies, which include PRAN-RFL Group companies and Popular Pharma.

DFDL acted as Bangladesh Law counsel for IFC on this transaction.
