Shark Tank Vineeta Singh's Company Sugar Cosmetics raises $50 million in Series D round: Vertices, AZB, JSA close the deal

Vellvette Lifestyle Private Limited (Sugar Cosmetics) has raised US$ 50 million in its Series D round of funding.

The round was led by the Asia fund of L Catterton (LCAT), a global consumer-focused private equity firm and Elevation Capital, India Quotient and A91 Partners.

Vertices Partners advised Sugar Cosmetics on the deal.

The team was led by Associate Partner Vani Panicker and Senior Associate Anushree Pathak.

Founder & Managing Partner, Vinayak Burman and Founder Partner Archana Khosla Burman, provided strategic inputs.

AZB & Partners advised LCAT with a team led by Partner Sachin Mehta, and Senior Associate Harshit Chandra.

J Sagar Associates advised A91 Partners on the deal.

The team was led by Partner Probir Roy Chowdhury with the assistance of Associates Pranavi Pera and Unnati Deva.

Vellvette Lifestyle Private Limited, doing business as 'SUGAR' Cosmetics, operates as a well-positioned online cosmetics company at the intersection of two major trends- a fast-growing beauty industry and rapidly increasing online penetration.

Sugar Cosmetics Founder Vineeta Singh is also a judge on popular TV Show Shark Tank India.
