Amicus Legal Advocates and Consultants is looking to hire an Associate/ Senior Associate in Dispute Resolution (Infrastructure & Government Contracts) in Jaipur.

Number of Positions: 3 (Three)

PQE: 2-3 years

Qualification: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from a recognized university.

Location: Jaipur (On-site)

Job description

  • The role involves handling complex disputes arising from infrastructure projects, public-private partnerships (PPP), and government tenders, with active involvement in advising and representing clients before arbitral tribunals, High Courts, and other forums.

  • Responsibilities include dispute strategy, drafting, and execution, particularly in tender-related issues, bid evaluation challenges, and contractual disputes.

  • Candidates will work on arbitration matters, including drafting pleadings (Statements of Claim/Defence, Rejoinders, Affidavits) and applications under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

  • We seek candidates with strong analytical and drafting skills, a keen interest in litigation and arbitration, and a sound understanding of the Indian Contract Act, Arbitration Act, and CPC.

  • Prior exposure to infrastructure or government contract disputes will be preferred.

Requirements

Focus on dispute resolution in infrastructure and government contracts. Involves handling tender disputes, contract interpretation, arbitration proceedings, and related court matters across sectors such as power, roads, railways, water, and renewable energy.

Remuneration: INR 4,20,000 - INR 4,80,000 depending on the candidate’s experience, skill set and competence.
