JMRK Legal Associates is looking to hire Junior/ Middle/ Senior level Advocates in Delhi.

Positions: Seven to Ten (7-10) vacancy

PQE

1. Senior Level - Minimum 15 years

2. Middle Level - 5-10 years

3. Junior Level - Up to 5 years

Location: Delhi

JMRK is inviting expression of interest from Advocates for different levels.

Job description, Eligibility criteria & Essential attributes

I. Senior level

  • Law degree from an accredited premier law college in India.

  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in handling litigation across all courts/tribunals other quasi-judicial forums including advisory services.

  • Strong knowledge of civil/criminal legal principles and procedures along with proficiency in court craft, legal research, analysis, and drafting.

  • Exceptional command over English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Capability to lead a team of experienced legal professionals, providing guidance and mentorship.

  • Strong administrative/management abilities along with exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills and growth-oriented mindset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent in complex litigation across various forums and handle court appearances.

  • Ensure procedural compliances across all courts/tribunals/quasi-judicial forums.

  • Review and analyze documents/information, formulate case strategies with attention to detail, and commitment to deadlines, while maintaining confidentiality.

  • Lead drafting/review of case pleadings and other deeds and documents.

  • Provide strategic advisory in diverse areas of law.

  • Manage, mentor, and oversee the work of junior and mid-level professionals, nurturing high performance ethos.

  • Lead end-to-end case management ensuring accuracy and timely compliances, for multiple cases effectively.

II. Middle Level

  • Law degree from an accredited premier law college in India.

  • Post-qualification experience of 5-10 years.

  • Knowledge of civil/criminal legal principles and procedures along with necessary court craft, legal research, analytical and drafting skills.

  • Strong command over English with great communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Adeptness to mentor juniors, as well as assist Seniors, while working in a team set-up.

  • Ability to handle cases with minimum supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist seniors and mentor junior professionals

  • Handle court appearances

  • Conduct detailed legal research & prepare comprehensive case briefs/ research notes.

  • Draft, review, and file pleadings, and other deeds and documentation.

  • Manage multiple cases effectively and work under guidance with minimum supervision.

III. Junior Level

  • Law degree from an accredited premier law college in India.

  • Excellent academic record and in-depth knowledge of basic laws.

  • Post-qualification experience of up to 5 years.

  • Strong command over English with great communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong research, analytical, and legal writing skills.

  • Self-driven with ability and willingness to assist Seniors and handle filing and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare analytical research notes.

  • Review and analyze documents and prepare comprehensive case briefs/ notes.

  • Assist in drafting case pleadings and other deeds and documents.

  • Handle paperwork and maintain case files.

  • Provide support in filings, compliances, hearings, and client interactions

REMUNERATION:

Based on candidate’s profile, qualifications & experience.

Interview

Short-listed candidates will be called for an interview for which physical presence shall be mandatory and no request for a virtual interview will be entertained.

The interview shall be conducted in up to three rounds and shall involve on-the-spot usage of tools & techniques to evaluate the candidates' skills.
