Job Description
I am a sole practitioner working almost exclusively in business and commercial litigation.
This does not include personal injury, insurance defense, family law, torts or any other type of law other than business transactions.
I am looking for an experienced Lawyer to do research on Westlaw or Lexus and then draft and review pleadings as well as upload documents on NYSCEF.
This position requires analytical and writing skills as well as an understanding of corporate law.
The responsibilities may include representing a client in court when the hearing is done remotely.
The qualifications are;
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
5+ years of experience in corporate law preferred
Valid license to practice in New York (NJ a plus)
Able to work independently
Strong analytical and research skills
Remuneration: USD 52000 per annum.
