The Karnataka Appellate Tribunal is inviting applications from eligible law students for legal internship program.
Interns will assist the Chairperson and Members in daily functioning, judicial records, and case research.

Duration: 6 to 8 Weeks
Mode: Offline/In-Office
Type: Unpaid (Certificates are provided upon successful evaluation of the completion report).
Eligibility Criteria
Enrollment: Must be enrolled in a recognized 3-year or 5-year LL.B. degree program.
Year of Study: Preference is typically given to students in their 3rd year or higher for 5-year courses, and 2nd year or higher for 3-year courses.
Academic Standing: Candidates should possess strong legal research and drafting skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
Assisting judicial and legal officers with case file reviews.
Conducting extensive research on relevant statutory provisions and case laws.
Observing court/tribunal proceedings and maintaining judicial records.
Compiling a comprehensive research report/paper at the end of the internship.
How to Apply
Interested and eligible candidates must submit the following documents:
Curriculum Vitae (CV): Highlighting academic achievements and research experience.
Recommendation Letter: Issued by the Dean or authorized faculty of the student's Law College/University, and addressed to the Registrar of the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal.
Student Identity Card: A valid ID proof issued by the educational institution.

Note: Shortlisted candidates will be invited by the Competent Authority to undertake the internship.
