15th SILF Turf Cricket League: Lall & Sethi crowned Plate Division Champions

Lall & Sethi was crowned Champions of the Plate Division of the 15th SILF Turf Cricket League on Saturday after beating Dentons Link Legal by 17 runs in the Final.

They scored 154 runs for a loss of 6 wickets before bowling Dentons Link Legal out for 137 runs in the Final held at Modern School, Barakhamba Road.

Meanwhile, Kartikeya Singh of Dentons Link Legal was named Fighter of the Finals.

The awards and trophies were handed out by Dr Lalit Bhasin, President of SILF, Dr Vijay Datta, Principal of Modern School, Barakhamba road, and Pallavi Saluja, Chief Editor of Bar & Bench.

Following the conclusion of the league stage, the top two teams from each of the eight pools advanced to the knockout rounds of the Cup Division of the tournament.

Meanwhile, the bottom two teams from each pool earned their place in the knockouts of the Plate Division.

In the final of the Cup Division on December 25, Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan will face either Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas or S&A Law Offices, depending on which of the two emerges victorious in the second semifinal to be held on December 23.
