Amarchand SA, NLUJ- grad Abir Roy joins Mumbai-based Khare Chambers as Partner

Amarchand Mangaldas Senior Associate Abir Roy, who had left the firm in May this year, has joined Mumbai-based firm Khare Legal Chambers LLP as a Partner. He is also the Partner-In-Charge for the firm’s Delhi office.

Roy will be focusing on competition law and consumer litigation at the firm

After graduating from National Law University, Jodhpur, Roy joined Nishith Desai Associates, working there for almost three years after which he joined P&A Law Offices. After roughly eighteen months at P&A Law Offices, he moved to Amarchand Mangaldas, where he was part of the Competition Law team.

Abhishek Khare, who is the Managing Partner at Khare Chambers, is a graduate of ILS Law College, Pune and holds a BCL from University of Oxford. He has previously worked with AZB & Partners, and Advani & Co before setting up Khare Chambers.
