[Exclusive]: Another exit from CAM: TMT Partner Asim Abbas to leave

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Technology, Media and Telecom Partner Asim Abbas is leaving the firm.

Confirming Asim Abbas’ exit, Managing Partner Cyril Shroff said,

” We wish Asim all the best.”

Abbas has over 22 years of experience in the Telecommunication sector, and has also been a policy maker in the Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications, Government of India.

He had left Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas in 2016 to join Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.

He has previously worked at Khaitan & Co, Bharti Airtel, J. Sagar Associates, and Luthra & Luthra (L&L Partners). In 2010, he merged his firm Legal Spectrums with Khaitan, and five years later moved to Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas.

Recently, the firm has seen a couple of exits including those of Rishi Anand, Kirat Nagra, and Manishi Pathak.
