Aruna Kumari’s Legal Matrix merges with Kochhar & Co.’s Hyderabad office

Legal Matrix, a law firm based in the new state of Telangana, has merged with Kochhar & Co.’s Hyderabad office. Aruna Kumari, the Founding Partner at Legal Matrix, has joined Kochhar’s Hyderabad office along with her team of five lawyers.

She will be the second Partner at the Hyderabad office along with VVSN Raju, the Resident Partner.

On her decision to merge with Kochhar, Aruna said, “We have a strong hold on the domestic clients here and I wanted to scale up my practice. I thought this integration would help me do that.”

Aruna, who has about 15 years of experience in the profession, set up Legal Matrix in 2011 prior to which she was working with Fox Mandal for close to six years.

She focuses on real estate laws, civil and criminal litigation, corporate and commercial laws, intellectual property and labour & employment laws.
