[Exclusive]: AZB gets (another) CAM lawyer in Partner Designate, Prerak Ved

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Partner Designate Prerak Ved will be leaving the firm to join AZB & Partners in Mumbai, according to authoritative sources. Both Zia Mody and Cyril Shroff were not available for comment at the time of publication.

When the move comes through, Prerak will be the seventh senior-level move following the similar trajectory. All of AZB’s recent hires have been from Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas including Ashwath Rau and his team of three partners, Nisha Kaur Uberoi and VP Singh.

Prerak was made Partner Designate in June this year, six years after he joined the firm. The ex-Crawford Bayley hand is part of the the firm’s corporate practice group.
