AZB hires Shreya Rao at Bangalore to co-head private client practice

AZB & Partners has hired Shreya Rao as a Partner in its Bangalore office, to co-head the firm’s Private Client practice, with effect from June 20.

A 2006 graduate of NALSAR, Hyderabad, Rao completed her LL.M. from Harvard Law School in 2009. She went on to work for Nishith Desai Associates, where she led the Private Client practice and co-headed the International Tax practice.

Rao then set up her boutique law firm, Rao Law Chambers in 2016. Her firm focussed on private wealth and tax.

A release from AZB states,

“We are delighted to have Shreya come on board. Her arrival will ensure an even greater push for AZB’s Private Client Practice and International Tax Practice.”
