AZB lawyer Navruz Vakil moves to Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas in Mumbai

AZB & Partners lawyer Navruz Vakil has left the firm to join Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas.

He has joined SAM as a Senior Associate in the firm’s Mumbai office. He will be part of Mumbai Partner Ashni Roy’s team.

Navruz, son of AZB Founding Partner Bahram Vakil, is a graduate of Government Law College, Mumbai. He has also previously worked in the London Office of Akin Gump.

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas Managing Partner, Pallavi Shroff, confirming his joining said,

“We welcome Navruz to the firm.”

Recently, the firm hired Link Legal’s Anurag Dwivedi and L&L Partners’ Neha Sinha as Partners in its Projects & Project Finance and General Corporate practices respectively.

The firm also hired Trilegal’s Karun Prakash as a Partner Designate.

Earlier this month, the firm had also hired former Nishith Desai Associates lawyer Niyati Gandhi as a Senior Associate for its litigation practice in Bangalore.
