AZB & Partners has promoted Vipul Jain, Jasmin Karkhanis and Veena Gopalakrishnan to partnership.
AZB has also added Sayak Maity as a Partner in Mumbai office. Sayak has joined the firm from Tata.

Vipul and Jasmin are based in Mumbai while Veena is in Bangalore office.
Jasmin is a graduate of the University of Mumbai. She started her career with AZB & Partners in 2005 and later moved to Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas. She rejoined AZB in 2016 as part of Ashwath Rau’s team. Vipul too moved to AZB from Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas as part of Ashwath’s team.
Veena is a 2008 graduate of ILS Law College Pune. She has previously worked at DSK Legal, Trilegal and Nishith Desai Associates before joining AZB in 2016. She focuses on Employment practice.
The firm has also promoted Alpesh Parekh as a Counsel to the firm’s Pune office.
