[Exclusive]: Five new Partners at AZB’s Delhi office weeks after Percival Billimoria’s exit

There has been plenty of senior-level movement when it comes to Indian law firms. And AZB & Partners is no different. Days after its Litigation Partner Percy Billimoria moved to Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, the firm has bagged the prize catch of VP Singh.

And now, the firm’s Delhi office will see five senior associates being promoted to Partnership, two of whom are in the litigation team.

The five freshly minted Partners are:

  • Aditya Singh Chandel
  • Agnik Bhattacharyya
  • Anindita Roy Chowdhury
  • Heena Singh
  • Roopali Singh

Aditya Singh Chandel is part of the tax team led by Managing Partner Ajay
Bahl
. He is a graduate of NALSAR University, and joined AZB in September 2009 from KPMG India.

Agnik Bhattacharyya, a graduate of NUJS Kolkata, is part of the Capital Markets team led by Madhurima Mukherjee.  He started his career at AZB in 2006 and in less than two years he moved to Amarchand Mangaldas, where he worked till 2014, when he rejoined AZB.

Heena Singh is a graduate of the National Law University, Jodhpur. She Joined AZB in July 2007. She is part of the Mergers and Acquisitions team led by Partner Gautam Saha.

Roopali Singh and Anindita Roy Chowdhury are part of the litigation team. Roopali, a 2004 graduate of Faculty of Law (Delhi University), she joined the firm in 2013 from Dua Associates.

Anindita is a graduate of Symbiosis Law School, and worked at Paras Kuhad and DSK Legal before joining AZB & Partners in 2012.
