AZB & Partners has promoted Counsel Hufriz Wadia and Consultant Suharsh Sinha to partnership with effect from October 1, 2018.

Hufriz joined AZB as a Counsel in 2017 from Kochhar & Co. She worked at Kochhar for almost four years prior to which she was working with Juris Corp. Before joining Juris Corp, Hufriz was working in Dubai-based law firm, Al Tamimi & Company as a Senior Associate. She worked at Al Tamimi for five years where she advised on conventional and Islamic financing transactions and structuring.

After graduating from KC Law College in Mumbai, Hufriz completed her articleship with Udwadia & Udeshi, subsequently joining the firm in 2005. In 2006, she moved to Wadia Ghandy & Co where she worked for a year and a half before moving to Al Tamini & Company. Hufriz is a Solicitor with the Bombay Incorporated Law Society and is also a Solicitor in England & Wales.

Suharsha joined AZB in 2016 from RBI, where he was working as a Consultant. He has previously worked at Linklaters and Mckinsey & Company. He is a graduate of National Law School of India University, Bangalore and also holds an LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania.
