Becoming an Advocate-on-Record isn’t just about being a good lawyer — it’s about meeting the Supreme Court’s highest standards and clearing one of India’s most selective legal exams.
In the 2024 AOR Exam, 1205 advocates appeared and only 356 cleared. Typically, just 200–300 lawyers qualify each time — making it one of the most competitive legal credentials in the country.
In 2024, 18 BR learners appeared and 12 cleared and were designated as AOR. A success rate of over 70%.
