Bharati Shroff, Founding Partner of Amarchand Mangaldas passes away

Bharati Suresh Shroff, wife of Late Suresh A. Shroff and the Founding Partner of Amarchand Mangaldas passed away today at the age of 84.

The matriarch, who specialized in real estate law, was on the firm’s Management Committee and was actively involved in the affairs of the firm.

Following the death of Suresh A. Shroff in 1994, the management of the firm passed into the hands of the two sons, Shardul Shroff and Cyril Shroff.

A cremation ceremony will be held on Monday, August 25 in Mumbai and as a mark of respect all the offices of the firm will remain closed tomorrow.
