Bharucha & Partners has promoted Ajai Achuthan to partnership. He joined Bharucha’s Mumbai office in 2014.

He advises on securities law matters including acting as a briefing counsel for matters before the Securities and Exchange Board of India, the Securities Appellate Tribunal and the Supreme Court of India in connection with securities law litigation. He also acts on domestic capital markets issuances.

Ajai started his career with Mr. C. Achuthan at Corporate Law Chambers India and later moved to Desai & Dewanji before finally joining Bharucha.
