Senior Advocate and eminent jurist Fali Nariman and journalist and Chief Editor of The Print Shekhar Gupta will be in discussion with Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy's Arghya Sengupta on his recent book 'The Colonial Constitution'.

The discussion will be held on October 6 at 6 pm at the India International Centre in New Delhi.

The Colonial Constitution provides an insight into how the architects of our nation crafted a Constitution that, in the words of renowned freedom fighter and future Chief Minister of Mysore state, Kengal Hanumanthaiah, resembled the "melody of an English orchestra".

The book provides answers to questions about the alternative constitutions that were available to the drafters and the reasons behind the rejection of these alternatives.
