[Book Launch] 'Arbitrator's Handbook': Law Minister and 4 Supreme Court Judges in attendance [WATCH LIVE]

Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju and Supreme Court judges Justices Uday Umesh Lalit, Sanjay Kishan Kaul, BR Gavai, and Sanjiv Khanna are among the speakers at the launch of the book.

The 'Arbitrator's Handbook', a LexisNexis publication edited by Shashank Garg is set to be released shortly.

The event will be attended by four Supreme Court judges and the Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju.

Justice UU Lalit will be the Guest of Honour while Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju will be the Chief Guest.

Justices Sanjay Kishan Kaul, Sanjiv Khanna and BR Gavai will make contributor’s comments.

Kenneth D Beale, Partner at King & Spalding LLP will deliver the welcome address, while editor Shashank Garg will deliver the closing remarks.

The physical event is being telecast live.

Reviewing the book, Justice DY Chandrachud of the Supreme Court had said, “The readers of the handbook will have the benefit of engaging with the scholarship of a diverse group of contributors who interact with the mechanism of arbitration in various capacities on an everyday basis. Their vision will help in strengthening the mechanism. Their awareness of the pitfalls will ensure the continuous evolution of the law, procedure and practice of arbitration.”
