Breaking: JSA makes 15 retained partners, 2 Equity Partners

After Khaitan & Co and Trilegal, J. Sagar Associates is the next law firm to announce its promotions. JSA has promoted 15 of its lawyers to retained partnership.

Two ‘Equity Partner Elects’ Lalit Kumar and Pallavi Bedi are Equity Partners effective today as stated last year, with further announcements likely to follow soon.

Speaking to Bar & Bench, Joint Managing Partner, Dina Wadia commented, “We are happy and proud to welcome them into the JSA partnership.”

These promotions come at a time of significant changes in management at the firm. This January, Joint Managing Partners Dina Wadia and Shivpriya Nanda took over from Berjis Desai, who is set to retire in April next year.

The firm will also see the exit of Equity Partner, Somasekhar Sundaresan, who recently announced his intention to leave the firm to set up counsel practice.
