Legal technology platform CaseMine has announced the launch of AMICUS AI – Advanced, the most powerful and enhanced version of its AI assistant to date, designed for professionals working with the law.

With this release, the platform will now offer two versions of the AI: AMICUS AI – Standard and AMICUS AI – Advanced. While the Standard model will continue to remain available, the newly introduced Advanced model brings significant improvements in the depth, accuracy and overall quality of outputs.

According to CaseMine, the new model was developed after extensive internal testing and benchmarking against its existing system. The company maintains an internal benchmarking framework that evaluates AI systems across tasks such as legal research, document analysis, drafting, issue spotting and complex legal reasoning. Based on these evaluations, AMICUS AI – Advanced delivered the strongest performance of any model deployed on the platform so far, surpassing the capabilities of the existing system.

AMICUS AI was introduced by CaseMine as a conversational AI assistant capable of helping users with a wide range of legal tasks, including legal research, analysing case materials, drafting replies and arguments, summarising documents and identifying key legal issues. Unlike tools built for a single output, AMICUS AI is designed as a general-purpose legal assistant, allowing users to interact with it in an open chat environment and request a wide variety of legal outputs depending on the task at hand.

With the launch of the Advanced model, CaseMine says the platform now offers more sophisticated reasoning, stronger document comprehension and improved drafting quality, particularly for complex legal queries and matters involving multiple documents.

Despite these improvements, the company emphasised that accessibility remains central to its approach.

“From the beginning, our focus has been on ensuring that AI tools remain accessible to the wider legal ecosystem in India,” the company said, adding that AMICUS AI – Advanced has been competitively priced so that professionals across the legal space can benefit from it.

CaseMine added that the Standard version of AMICUS AI will continue to remain available for existing users, while the Advanced model offers a more powerful option for those seeking deeper analysis and higher-quality outputs.

The launch of AMICUS AI – Advanced marks another step in CaseMine’s effort to expand the practical use of artificial intelligence in legal work. As adoption grows across the legal sector, CaseMine says its focus remains on building AI tools that are powerful enough to handle complex legal tasks while remaining accessible to everyone who engages with the law.
