Centre notifies appointment of BV Reddy as Judge of Telangana High Court

The Central government has notified the appointment of Bollampally Vijaysen Reddy as a Permanent judge.

The Central Government has issued a notification today, directing the appointment of Advocate Bollampally Vijaysen Reddy as a Judge of the High Court for the State of Telangana.

The Notification states,

In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Bollampally Vijaysen Reddy, to be a Judge of High Court for the State of Telangana with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.
Central Notification

The Supreme Court collegium had recently proposed the appointment of Advocate B Vijaysen Reddy as judge of Telangana High Court in its meeting held on April 20.
