Chandhiok & Associates rebrands as Chandhiok & Mahajan, gets 3 partners

Chandhiok & Associates has been rebranded as Chandhiok & Mahajan, Advocates and Solicitors.

The rebranding reflects the firm’s core practices that are led by Karan Chandhiok (Disputes and Regulatory, including Competition) and Pooja Mahajan (Corporate and Restructuring).

The firm has also promoted Kalyani Singh and Vikram Sobti to partnership, and has hired Kaushalya Venkataraman as a partner.

Kalyani Singh and Vikram Sobti are 2010 graduates of Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi.

Kalyani holds an LL.M. from Georgetown University. She joined the firm in 2015 and has been part of the Regulatory Practice Group with focus on anti-trust and merger control. Prior to joining the firm, she was part of the Competition Team at Luthra & Luthra Law Offices.

Vikram has been with the firm since its inception in 2013, and is part of the Dispute Resolution Group with focus on commercial arbitration and regulatory litigation. Previously, Vikram was part of the Disputes and Competition Team at Luthra & Luthra Law Offices.

Kaushalya Venkataraman has joined as a partner in the Corporate & Restructuring practice group. Kaushalya is a 2008 graduate from NLSIU, Bangalore and has prior work experience with Amarchand Mangaldas, P&A Law Offices, BMR Legal and Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas. Kaushalya will be based out of Bangalore.

The firm has also promoted Mahima Singh (Restructuring Group) and Mehul Parti (Disputes and Regulatory Litigation Group) as Senior Associates.
