The sixth Ram Jethmalani Memorial Lecture is being held today evening at New Delhi, with Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya Kant slated to deliver the key note address.

This year’s lecture is centred around the theme, Justice seen to be done: Transparency and public trust as pillars of the legal system.

Senior Advocate Mahesh Jethmalani will render the welcome address followed by a brief address by the Guest of Honour, Minister of State (in charge) for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal.

Senior Advocate Harish Salve and journalist Swaminathan Gurumurthy are also expected to speak at the event, which is scheduled to start at 5 PM.
