Collegium recommends appointment of 8 judicial officers including 3 women as Delhi High Court judges

The Delhi High Court, which has a sanctioned strength of 60 judges, is currently functioning with 44 judges, a vacancy position of 16.

The Supreme Collegium on Thursday recommended the appointment of 8 judicial officers including 3 women as judges of the Delhi High Court.

The persons recommended for appointment are:

- Gurvinder Pal Singh;

- Nivedita Anil Sharma;

- Nisha Sahay Saxena;

- Sanjay Sharma-I;

- Shri Bharat Parashar;

- Dr. Aditi Choudhary;

- Dinesh Bhatt; and

- Arun Bhardwaj.

Arun Bhardwaj is incumbent Registrar General of Delhi High Court.
