Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has hired Omar Ahmad as a Partner in the firm’s Disputes practice at Delhi.

Ahmad is an alumnus of Symbiosis Law School Pune. He joined the erstwhile Amarchand Mangaldas in 2010, after graduation. After the firm split, Ahmad had joined Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, where he worked from 2015 to 2018.

Speaking about his promotion, Ahmad said in a press release,

“I am excited to be a part of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and look forward to contribute and further strengthen the firm’s litigation and arbitration practice.”

Managing Partner Cyril Shroff commented,

“We are delighted to welcome Omar to the firm. We are confident that he will bring in expertise, experience and opportunities which will further boost the firm’s disputes and litigation practice.”

In June this year, it was reported that Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas Equity Partner Akila Agrawal, who had resigned from the firm in April, was likely to join Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.
