[Breaking]: This is who Cyril Amarchand’s Ashwath Rau is taking with him to AZB

Ashwath Rau, Mumbai Partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, is not the only one moving to AZB. Rau’s home grown Partners – Ganesh Rao, Anu Tiwari and Dhruv Singhal will also be heading in the same direction, according to sources.

Both Cyril Shroff and Zia Mody were not available for comment at the time of publishing the story.

Anu Tiwari

Ganesh Rao, a graduate of NUJS, was made Partner in 2015 and has been handling the firm’s funds practice.

Anu Tiwari, another NUJS grad, was one of the eight recent Partner promotees, and focuses on financial services.

Dhruv Singhal

Dhruv Singhal, an NLSIU graduate who was promoted along with Tiwari, focuses on corporate M&A practice.

The two are not the only 2016 Partners to leave the firm.

As first reported here, Himashu Dodeja will also be leaving the firm to join Blackstone as senior in-house counsel.
