Cyril Amarchand’s Yash Ashar, Nisha Uberoi in ALB Asia’s 40 under 40

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas’s Capital Markets Partner Yash Ashar, and Competition Law Partner Nisha Kaur Uberoi have made it to the inaugural list of Asia Legal Business (ALB) Asia’s 40 under 40.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Managing Partner Cyril Shroff commented, “My firm and I are extremely proud of this accolade to Yash and Nisha especially as they are the only 2 from India. They have worked very hard for this”.

Both Yash and Nisha are graduates of National Law School of India University, and both started their careers at Amarchand Mangaldas.

Yash, who specialises in securities law and capital markets, graduated in 2001 and has been part of the firm since then. Yash co-heads Cyril Amarchand’s capital markets practice along with Arjun Lall.

Uberoi, who heads Cyril Amarchand’s competition law practice, graduated in 2002. In 2005, she moved to Rajah & Tann in Singapore after working with Amarchand Mangaldas for 2 years. In 2008 she joined Ashurst, moving back to India in 2011 to rejoin Amarchand Mangaldas in Mumbai.
