Dealogic 2013 Projects Ranking: Amarchand tops league tables; Desai Diwanji, Luthra ahead of AZB

Amarchand Mangaldas maintains its lead position in the project finance league tables (both Asia Pacific and Asia) ahead of Desai & Diwanji, Luthra & Luthra and AZB & Partners. These were some of the findings in Dealogic’s 2013 Rankings.

Amarchand advised on a total of 28 deals valued at $10.36 billion making it to the top of the league tables over international law firms Allen & Overy, Allens, Herbert Smith Freehills and others.

Desai & Diwanji is ranked 6th in the Asia Pacific league with 20 deals valued at $4.78 billion followed by Luthra & Luthra at 8th rank. Interestingly, AZB is back in the Asia Pacific league table after missing out its position in the third quarter, on 9th position with 3 deals valued at $3.02 billion.

In the Asia league table, Desai & Diwanji is ranked 3rd, Luthra at 6th, AZB at 7th and SJ Law Advocates at 10thLuthra & Luthra advised on 8 deal valuing $3.42 billion while SJ Law Advocates worked on 12 deals worth $ 2.39 billion.

India is ranked 2nd on the global project finance league table with 161 deals valued at $41 billion losing out the top spot to USA.
