The Delhi High Court will start live-streaming of its proceedings from October 11, Wednesday.

The initiative will currently be limited to proceedings in the Chief Justice's court and the live-streaming will be on case-to-case basis as per the directions of the Court.

The live streaming link is available on the home page of the official website of Delhi High Court https://delhihighcourt.nic.in under the title - LIVE STREAMING.

"In pursuit of greater access to justice, the High Court of Delhi is going to start the live streaming of court proceedings on 11 October, 2023 at 10:30 am in Court No. 1 (comprising Hon'ble Mr Justice Satish Chandra Sharma, Hon'ble the Chief Justice and Hon'ble Mr Justice Sanjeev Narula) in an identified matter," the High Court said.

The Court said that the live-streaming of the proceedings before Court No 39 will also start soon.

In a communication, the High Court also said that the contents of 'LIVE STREAMING' are for information purpose only and the live streaming/archival data shall not be considered official record of the court proceedings.

"No person/entity (including print and electronic media, and social media platforms) other than an authorised person/entity shall record, share and/or disseminate live streamed proceedings or archival data," the High Court said.

It added,

"It is noteworthy that all the courts of the High Court of Delhi are functioning as paperless e-courts with the facility of video conference/hybrid hearing and all the cases, replies, rejoinders, documents, etc, are e-filed through Online c-Fling System only."
