Delhi judge, aged 30, dies by suicide

Aman Sharma cleared judicial service exam in 2021 and was serving as the secretary of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), North East District.

Delhi judge Aman Sharma, aged 30, died by suicide on Saturday in Delhi‘s Safdarjung Enclave.

Sharma joined the Delhi Judicial Service on June 19, 2021 after graduating in law from Symbiosis Law School, Pune.

He has dealt with a number of criminal and civil matters while holding jurisdiction as Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) First class and as a Civil Judge.

Since October 2025, he was serving as the secretary of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) of North East District at Karkardooma Courts
