Former DH Law Senior Partner Vivek Daswaney joins IndusLaw as Partner

Vivek Daswaney, former Senior Partner at DH Law Associates, has joined

IndusLaw in Mumbai. He has joined with a team of five lawyers – Vidya Rao, Divakar Bhatia, Krupa Desai, Shriya Rao and Shreshth Bhartia.

IndusLaw Partner Suneeth Katarki commented,

“Vivek brings nearly 20 years of experience in legal work in Mumbai as a qualified solicitor. This will strengthen and broaden our client services capability in Mumbai.”

DH Law Associates had recently merged with Link Legal India Law Services. However, Daswaney had resigned from the firm before the merger.  Commenting on Daswaney’s decision to move on, DH Law Partner Nusrat Hassan said,

“We wish him all the very best in his new endeavor.”

In 2015, Daswaney merged his firm, V Law Partners, with DH Law Associates.

Daswaney is qualified as a solicitor in Mumbai and in England & Wales. He initially worked with ARA Law for close to five years, before moving to Kochhar & Co. After working with Kochhar for almost three years he moved to ALMT Legal, where he was made a Partner in 2006. In 2009, he left ALMT to set up V Law Partners.

In January this year, Sandeep Grover joined IndusLaw as a Partner in the firm’s Delhi office from Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas.
