Dhaval Vussonji + Alliance Corporate Lawyers to form 40-lawyer full service firm

Mumbai-based firms Dhaval Vussonji & Associates and Alliance Corporate Lawyers have merged their practices creating a 40 lawyers team.

Dhaval Vussonji & Associates, founded by Dhaval Vussonji and Prachi Dave, focuses on real estate, banking and corporate practices. With this merger with Alliance Corporate Lawyers, Dhaval Vussonji will will add two more verticals to its existing practice areas – Capital Markets and Securities law practice.

The merger will be effective from April 1, 2016 with ACL’s Managing Partner RS Loona coming on board with his team.

Loona, who set up Alliance Corporate Lawyers in 2007, specializes in securities market, banking and finance, infrastructure projects, real estate and regulatory advice. He has served as Executive Director (Law) of the Securities & Exchange Board of India for a period of about 4 years. He has also worked with IDBI, where he held the post of Chief General Manager (Legal).

Speaking about the merger, Dhaval Vussonji said,
