Diwakar Agarwal leaves DLA to join Stephenson Harwood as partner in Dubai

Stephenson Harwood LLP has strengthened its corporate practice with the addition of Diwakar Agarwal as a Partner in its Dubai office.

Diwakar joins Stephenson Harwood from DLA Piper and brings more than 20 years of experience, of which over 10 years has been in the Middle East.

“We continue to see a growing level of activity across the Middle East, especially in the corporate space,” said Stephenson Harwood’s Dubai office managing partner, Rovine Chandrasekera.

“When we launched our office here five years ago, we recognised the importance of having a strong corporate practice. Diwakar’s experience not only complements our existing expertise, it enables us to take the next step in the development of our corporate practice in the region.”

Diwakar, who joins the Middle East partnership, has extensive experience advising international and regional clients on a broad range of corporate and M&A matters.

Diwakar is a Chevening Scholar and a graduate of the National Law School of India University, Bangalore.
