DMD Advocates has hired S&R Associates’ Counsel Jeremy Lynn Chagas Pereira as a Partner in its Litigation Group. The firm has also promoted Principal Associate Sachit Jolly to partnership in the Direct Tax Group.

Lynn has over twenty-one years of experience in corporate and commercial litigation and domestic and international arbitration. He graduated from GLC Mumbai in 1996. He has previously worked at Amarchand Mangaldas and the chambers of Iqbal Chagla, before joining S&R in 2013. He was made Counsel in 2015.

Sachit Jolly has been advising and representing Indian and foreign clients from the aviation, education, FMCG, IT, oil & gas and pharmaceutical sectors, before the AAR, Income Tax Tribunal and the High Courts on tax issues. Sachit also specializes in international taxation.

He is a graduate of Amity Law School. He initially worked at Vaish Associates before joining DMD in 2012.

The firm has also promoted two of its Senior Associates – Sumit Garg and Shivendra Singh – to Principal Associates in the Corporate Group.
