Dua Associates has recently announced two promotions. The firm has promoted Manager Abhinav Rastogi to partnership in its Delhi office while Partner P.V. Sajiv Kumar has been made equity partner.

Dua Associates has recently announced two promotions. The firm has promoted Manager Abhinav Rastogi (pictured above right) to partnership in its Delhi office while Partner P.V. Sajiv Kumar (pictured above left) has been made equity partner.

Abhinav Rastogi joined the firm in October 2006. Prior to joining Dua Associates, Abhinav was working at Aggarwal Jetley & Co. for almost 2 years.

Abhinav is part of the corporate team and specializes in Corporate and Commercial Laws with varied experience in dealing with issues related to Company law, regulatory law and policy, foreign direct investment and foreign exchange laws.

Sajiv joined Dua Associates in 2001, prior to which he was practicing on his own. Sajiv is based in Chennai office of the firm and was promoted to partnership in 2007.

Sajiv practices primarily in the real estate sector with a specific emphasis on structuring and documentation of real estate transactions involving foreign investment, venture capital and joint ventures. He also practices in the area of commercial contracts, specializing in software contracts.

At present, the firm has over 50 partners.
