Former ELP Partner Deep Roy sets up boutique law firm Equilex

Former Economic Laws Practice Partner Deep Roy has set up his own boutique law firm, Equilex.

The firm specialises in transactions, advisory, regulatory and dispute resolution issues. Its primary work includes debt and financing transactions, fund raising transactions, stressed asset transactions, corporate and debt restructuring, banking and regulatory advisory, as well as insolvency and bankruptcy matters.

Equilex is also presently doing Resolution Professional mandates for Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) matters. Another area of focus is legal assistance around the stressed asset space. The firm is also actively pursuing advisory around the FEMA and RBI regulations.

The firm’s Founding Partner Deep Roy has over 12 years of experience in rendering corporate and transactional advisory services. He is a 2007 graduate of Symbiosis Law School, Pune. Prior to joining ELP in 2010, Roy worked at ICICI Bank.
