ELP has hired Ashurst’s Akshay Kishore in Mumbai to strengthen its Alternate Dispute Resolution practice. Akshay will be joining as an Associate Partner.

Akshay is currently a Senior Associate with the arbitration team of Ashurst LLP in Singapore, where he has been working for the past five years. He specialises in disputes relating to India, South East Asia and Australia, and has considerable experience of advising clients on oil & gas, mining, construction, finance and commercial disputes.

Prior to joining Ashurst, Akshay worked with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London and AZB & Partners in Mumbai. A graduate of Government Law College in Mumbai, Akshay started his career with ALMT Legal in 2007.
