Bangalore firm MD&T Partners merges with Equitas Legal to boost lit practice

Bangalore firm MD&T Partners has merged with Equitas Legal to boost its litigation and real estate practice with effect from October 1, 2017.

With this merger, MD&T Partners has 6 partners and a total of 17 lawyers.

Set up in 2011 by KS Devaraj, Bhargavi Dev K, and IS Devaiah, Equita Legal focuses on commercial real-estate and civil and criminal litigation.

MD&T was set up in 2005 by NLSIU grads Mahesh Devaiah and PM Thimmaiah. MD&T had earlier this year promoted Sandhya PV as a Partner.

Commenting on this merger, Mahesh Devaiah said,

“Since its inception in 2005, MD&T has built its reputation by ensuring the highest standards of quality and integrity in all its dealings. We are confident that this merger will provide our clients a more integrated solution and also hold us in good stead as we enhance our litigation and real-estate capacity with talented partners having specialized expertize.”
